Owner and CEO
A graduate of Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia, with a BFA in Advertising Design, Colleen has 20 plus years experience, including serving as Senior Art Director with a full service advertising agency in Tampa, Florida. Colleen’s expertise and passion in branding, print, and idea/concept development led her to establish her own firm, College Company in 1998. Clients over the years have included Colleges & Institutions, Non-Profits, Health Care, Corporations, Banking, Publishers and State Agencies. Colleen brings an expertise for design, creative ideas, navigation, planning and development which makes projects truly successful. Colleen is a sponsored member of the Virginia Council of CEOs, a past mentor at the JMU Center for Entrepreneurship Masters Program and a member of Central Virginia American Marketing Association. A seasoned marketer with expertise in consumer and B-to-B marketing strategies and implementation. Beginning his career in high-impact event marketing and promotions, Glenn learned first hand the necessity of exceptional communications and tailoring messages to truly speak with a given audience. Utilizing these and many more learnings, while working with exceptional mentors, allowed his responsibilities to quickly grow into his managing all elements of the marketing mix. Developing integrated marketing campaigns, writing and directing; television and radio, in addition to conceiving and executing print media campaigns are areas where he truly excels. Confidence and versatility combined with exceptional creative skills and project management organization has been Glenn’s strength throughout his career and has afforded him the opportunity to lead projects with notable clients like: Pepsi Co, AT&T, Comcast, Sports Illustrated, Anheuser Bush, in addition to many smaller companies and organizations.
Received her B.A. in English literature from Northwestern University. She is currently completing her Ph.D. in 20th century American literature and film at the University of Virginia. Sarah has been teaching courses in academic composition and professional writing for the past six years at the University of Virginia. She is an integral part of the College Company team providing her copywriting skills, developing social media postings, and proofing content.
